Traffic Interruption: April 4th - May 28th Tower Road & University Crescent (South)

When:

April 4th - May 28th (2022)

Where:

The southern section of Tower Road between University Drive East and University Crecent (south).

Work to be completed:

Parcel 33 (UniverCity Development project) realm work will be completed.

Expected Interruption:

1. The northbound traffic lane will be shifted towards the center of the road resulting in the left turn lane becoming a multi-use through lane and left turn lane.

2. The southbound left turn lane from Tower Road to University Crescent (south) will be closed. Left turns will not be permitted.

3. A section of University Crescent (south) from Tower Road eastward will be closed. Right turns into the UniverCity neighbourhood will not be permitted from Tower Road during this interruption. Westbound traffic (only) will be permitted at the west end of University Crescent (south). Two-way traffic will be available off University High Street.

4. Sidewalks in the area will be closed with detour signs posted.

Transit bus routing and scheduling is not expected to be affected by this roadway interruption.

Watch for equipment, construction vehicles, signs and crew working in the above areas.
