Serenity Easter Egg Hunt
After a 2-year hiatus the Serenity Easter egg hunt is back! As in past years, this event is open to kids from the whole neighbourhood. It will take place on Sunday April 17th at 10am at the Serenity playground.
We need donations of chocolate eggs or small items (Easter themed stickers, stamps, erasers from the Dollar Store) to be dropped off at Unit 21 in Serenity (9229 University Cres) by Friday April 15th. (It is one of the driveway units next to the path that runs between Serenity and Harmony). There is a box on the porch for drop-offs if no one is home.
We'll need a group of older kids who don’t plan on participating in the hunt to help hide the eggs on Easter morning meet at the playground at 9:40am -- our volunteers will receive a special Easter treat for helping out!
The Point Easter Community Celebration & Egg Hunt
The Point Church is holding an Easter Community Celebration and Egg Hunt on Saturday April 16th from 10am to 11am.
"Join us at the SFU Observatory (near to the bus loop) for a FREE jam packed hour of fun! Come make your own bunny ears, draw with some sidewalk chalk, get your face painted, take photos with the Easter bunny, do the giant Easter egg hunt, and more!
This event will be held in accordance with the PHO. Please be considerate of the comfortability of those around you. Be safe and be kind."
